Always store paper flat. Never lay it on its edge as this can cause curling.
Store paper away from damp/moist areas such as basements.
Store paper in its wrapper to prevent absorption of moisture from the air. Store wrapped paper in the carton.
Keep paper away from direct sunlight to prevent it from drying out or fading.
Before using, paper should be acclimated to room temperature. Make sure your paper has been in the same room as the machine for at least 24 hours.
Sometimes the quality of printed pages from
remanufactured cartridges may seem good
enough. But often, the print quality degrades
and the common substandard results such as
mystery dots, unwanted streaks and uneven
tones start showing on the print-outs. As a result,
sometimes, pages are not fit for distribution
inside or outside the company and printing
supplies are wasted.
Based on the study:
Based on HP calculations which leverage the
findings from a QualityLogic study, businesses
who use remanufactured cartridges may incur
up to 2x1more in total costs (for mature markets;
31%2 for emerging markets) than if they were
to use Original HP monochrome LaserJet
cartridges due to reprinting pages, fixing
problem cartridges and time wasted.
Remanufactured cartridges are not always as
reliable as they claim to be when compared
with Original HP LaserJet print cartridges. The
startling figures from the QualityLogic study
show that:
In addition, disposal practices are also
compromised. According to Gartner’s report4,
“remanufactured supplies are very unlikely to
be disassembled into the different materials and
recycled using the same process used by the
technology providers, which have established
recycling protocols.”
